Hi Brenda & Sadie, Husband will have two less invasive procedures to try to address the neck pain and arm pain. Hopefully the last resort of fusing discs in his neck is a no resort.

I just have to crush it a bit and the cats appear from nowhere. So Susan is moving to London? Good idea I think. She will be closer to the action. I thihk going back to the old house maybe brought too many sad memories, made it more diffiicult to adjust. Now she can go see other shows and be on hand for recording etc. She could think about donating her old home as a women's shelter or somethiing.

Sadie-I have catnip all over the yard. It really gets out of hand and I have to keep it under control. But there isn't a slew or cats passed out on the plants. My visiting neighbor's cats come to keep me company while i garden and they don't really go nuts. I guess its more potent when dried. I think Casper will think differently about catnip when older. That really is funny Ed. Kathy must have loved that! Poor Dot! Kittens are a riot.

Dot must have flipped the big cardboard box that Kathy leaves by the doorway to the dining room to store cardboard and paper for recycling. Kathy said she would have noticed except for the screaming Dot was making underneath the box and when she knocked over the broom.

I gave Sarah's Casper chocolate mint herb to smell yesterday and he was horrified. Fell over with surprise. And he can't understand what the fuss is about catnip either. But Yoda seems to like catnip. Geoff was called to a neighbours' cat last night. 14 years old, stopped eating, panting. Just feeling abdomen and smelling he could tell it had "knobbly kidneys" and characteristic smelling breath of end stage renal disease. He told them to keep him comfortable and take him for euthanasing today.

It just occured to me that I could set up my fish tanks again. There is metal cover in the lane and cars and trucks made vibrations and all my tanks would eventually burst. I got tired of 30 gallons wooshing across the rooms and my fish. I'll bet they make different tanks as well. But my other cats never obsessed over the fish. these girls might go nuts and torture the fish. Never mind!
